    Reason inflicts, poet claims ...
    Probing truth through dreams.

    1. poetry and reason can inflict or inspire
      wielding sword or pen
      per author's desire

    2. Or per hearer’s bent . . .
      Even words kind-meant
      Can twist or turn
      Can heal or burn

  2. words human crafted
    tickles demon gods within
    laughter smites em all
